Three water sources, three different mineral profiles

Temperatures below are read at the spring head, before the water reaches a bathing pool.

Four Carpathian thermal retreats, compared

Same mountains, different water. Each row lists source temperature, mineral profile, transfer time from Lviv, group cap and season, so you can choose without guessing.

Source readings taken at the spring head, 2024 survey. Prices are per person, twin room, two nights.
Retreat Spring °C Mineral profile Transfer Group cap Season From / person
Burkut Spring Retreat 38 Sulfur-bicarbonate 2 h 10 min 8 May–Oct UAH 12,400
Skole Beech Baths 34 Sodium-chloride 1 h 45 min 10 Apr–Nov UAH 9,800

Synevyr Moor Retreat 29 Hydrocarbonate 3 h 05 min 12 Jun–Sep UAH 8,600

Retreats are offered for relaxation and general well-being. They are not medical treatment and do not diagnose, cure or prevent any condition.

Groups stay small on purpose. Past eight people the soaking rhythm breaks, and the quiet that does the work disappears.

Who walks the springs with you

Two practitioners lead every group of eight. Their notes cover rest, warmth and pace, not treatment.

Eight people is the right number. We walk a short ridge in the morning, then let the warm water do the rest. Most guests sleep through the night by the third evening and only notice it afterwards.

I have walked these ridges for twenty years. The route I pick on the day depends less on distance than on how the group is breathing. Cold climb, warm water, that is the shape of the week.
